To produce this powerful work we bought together different groups of teenagers from around Essex to address the difficult topic of county lines. Producing a seven minute dramatised documentary film and an accompanying photography campaign we covered different experiences from young people across Essex and struck a balance between the hard hitting topic and a powerful uplifting look at the resilience within our cast.
The stories ranged from kids who had just seen it happen around them to those who had faced real prison time for dealing. It’s a comprehensive look at the subject from a broad spectrum of young people within the county and ultimately was hugely rewarding to produce.
